Today's sheet for Noah's Buddies

Print and post one by the door, one at the craft table, and one in Noah's Nook so every buddy is saying the same words all morning.

My Ark Room story

Read this with the student before class, one line at a time.

  1. Today I come to the Ark Room. My buddy says hello and helps me find my spot.
  2. First we do sensory time. My body gets calm. I can squeeze, rock, or breathe.
  3. Then we sing. I can sing, clap, listen, or wear my headphones. All of that is okay.
  4. Then we hear the story about two brothers, Jacob and Esau. They did not always get along.
  5. God still had a good plan for their family. God's plan is best.
  6. Then we do a craft. I can help, watch, or take a break. My buddy stays with me.
  7. God has a good plan for me too. I belong here. I am loved.

Buddy reminders

  • Say the storyline with motions every time you transition.
  • Any answer counts — a point, a card, a sign, an AAC tap, a sound, or a word.
  • Honor a break request right away. Asking is a win.
  • Name the theme out loud: “God's plan is best.”
